That doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be a need for web designers in the future, but I do believe it does mean there will be less of a need for them in the future. We will after all, still have a need for web designers to build us templates or themes of WordPress. But, it’s not like everyone building a site, needs to have their own personal designer tweaking CSS files, and photo-shopping their logos and graphics endlessly. I mean, how unique does your website really need to be?
And WordPress is not the only piece of software that gives webmasters this unparalleled freedom. While it’s true, that there are literally thousands of free WP themes available for download. While it does take some effort to browse through the loads of themes available and cull the dead wood, it can be well worth it when you find the perfect theme for your site. Even if you can find the perfectly designed theme, if you have even a thimbleful of tech savvy, you should be able to tweak the theme to look the way you want. And if, your unsure about what’s required to make your changes, you should be able to find plenty of help online.
